Gabby's great to work with. Not only is she an awesome make-up artist, but she's also one of the happiest people I know and always has a smile on her face!
We're worked together on a range of shoots, and each time we create something different and new. It's this that makes things so exciting.
Studying at the London College of Fashion, Gabby has a degree in "Specialist Make-Up for Fashion and Editorial". This, combined with experience working with some of the country's top photographers makes her extremely versatile, both in skill and creativity.
Gabby and I first met at an industry networking night in mid 2010, but for one reason or another, didn't get to work together until early this year. Suffice it to say, we've made up for it since then, and will undoubtedly work on many more awesome projects in the very near future!

Gabby says...
Well for me the first thing is being able to get on with others, in this job you meet different people all the time, everyone wants to feel comfortable with each other and feel relaxed. There is nothing worse then going to a shoot and no one is able to get on and relate to each other... eek!
For whoever I'm doing makeup on I like to build up a trust and connection as fast as possible with the model or client. This is so important as makeup is actually a very intimate and personal thing. It's quite hard to put your trust in someone you don't know to make you look good.
With a photographer you have to be able to understand each other, so both your ideas can connect and translate into the image It's important because if there is no connection on the ideas you have, the images will never be great!
Photographers can either make or break your work! And vice versa with makeup-artists for photographers.
