Oud fragrances are getting more and more popular, with loads of fragrance houses releasing their own take on the woody scent.

It finally happened!

It finally happened! After the best part of a year agonising over which photos to put on my wall, I actually have pictures in frames!!!

Picture frames redux

Many moons ago, I blogged about filling the empty picture frames adorning the walls of my East London flat. Well I still haven't filled them! However, tomorrow I shall be going to Focus on Imaging at the NEC to give a talk for Hasselblad, and there will be undoubtedly stands there offering free prints in order to showcase the latest printers. This to me seems like a golden opportunity to fill at least a few of the blank spaces that stare at me on a daily basis!

So it's back to the initial problem... What do I put in the frames? Well I think I've got a bit closer to making a decision...

Olympus OM-D E-M5

A few months ago I blogged about a shoot I did for Olympus User magazine to review the new Olympus OM-D. Well having used the camera for several months now, I thought I would go a bit more in depth and go through some of my feelings and experiences of this new camera.

Last year I blogged about my Olympus PEN E-PL1 and how much I loved it. After a year of using it, whilst still loving it and taking it everywhere, I had discovered a few areas I thought it could improve upon. Well Olympus have clearly developed a telepathic R&A department, because all the niggles that were in my head are completely gone on the OM-D!

Photokina 2012

So literally 2 hours after getting home from my final engagement at London Fashion Week, I was up and getting ready for my trip to Cologne, Germany for Hasselblad.

After getting to Stansted I tucked into an awesome pancake breakfast, where Mark from Hasselblad presented me with a small gift of an Olympus OM book he found at a car boot sale... Thanks Mark!
