Week eight! Whoop! I started the week with a gym session. This was the first time I’d been to the gym since starting this ridiculous way of eating. As usual I trained fasted, and did a full body workout. I was surprised at how little strength I’ve lost. I expected to be way weaker, but other than maybe losing 1-2 reps on my arms on the final set, I was just as strong as last time I went. I felt like I got a great pump too! I did get a yearning on the way home to go to the shop and get a protein bar of some kind, but I think that was probably more habit than anything else.Read More
Shocked to be in week 6 of this insanity, but here I am! I’m feeling great. My stomach area in general actually feels really good. Like the way it’s supposed to feel. If nothing else, this experiment has taught me about the way my things are meant to be.
One negative is that my skin isn’t great right now. This may or may not be diet related. I’ve suffered from seborrheic dermatitis since I was around 16 years old, so flare ups aren’t anything new. Having said that, there is a thing known as the ‘healing crisis’ where things get worse before they get better. If I am healing from within, the skin would be the last to show it, so we shall see.Read More
