Fragrance Review - Mont Blanc Legend Spirit

This is my second Mont Blanc fragrance review, and I've seen this one get quite a few good reviews, so I thought I'd try out Mont Blanc Legend Spirit. This is a 2016 flanker to the original Mont Blanc Legend released in 2011.

Obviously a blind buy from Amazon, so I got a smaller bottle, just in case it wasn't for me. According to Mont Blanc, Legend Spirit is an unpretentious versatile scent.

Fragrance Review - Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua

I bought Paco Rabanne's Invictus Aqua at Heathrow Airport before my trip to Miami. I spent a good couple of hours trying out all the fragrances, much to the annoyance of my travel partner, Bang on Style.

I wanted something to wear at the beach in Miami, in the hot weather, surrounded by palm trees. I was still a little unsure about what notes I specifically liked at the time, and didn't really know too much about the different categories of fragrances. Thanks to Debs, after much deliberation, I did settle on Invictus Aqua.

Fragrance Review - Bleu De Chanel

I love Chanel, but being a boy, they don't make anything for me to wear. Beyond clothing, however, Chanel do produce an extensive offering of mens fragrances, and I've worn a few of them over the years. One notable scent that I wore extensively during my teen years, was Platinum Égoïste which is a woody floral fragrance. I tried it again recently, and I'm not into it as much anymore.

I received this bottle of Bleu de Chanel as a birthday present last year from Mum and Dad. I had no idea what it was going to smell like, or even what the note breakdown was, but it features on many top 10 lists, so it must be good right?

Fragrance Review - Versace Versense

I bought this whilst on my Heathrow Duty Free fragrance exploration, after picking up my bottle of Atelier Cologne Clementine California. With that being a niche fragrance and a little more expensive, I wanted something similar, but at a lower price point.

Versace Versense is actually a women’s fragrance, but many of the reviews consider it unisex, and to be honest, if the note breakdown and composition are what I like, then who cares?

Fragrance Review - Atelier Cologne Clementine California

I’d never heard of Atelier Cologne before my trip to New York, but that all changed when got to the airport before my flight. I deliberately arrived early to spend a lot of time in Duty Free trying out fragrances and learning about what I liked and didn’t light. It was super informative, and you can read all about it here.

Whilst wandering around the fragrance offerings that Heathrow’s Terminal 5 had to offer, I made a friend in one of the sales assistants in the Tom Ford concession. She became my guide, and was amazing!

Fragrance Review - Elysium by Roja Dove

Last year, when I first decided I wanted to learn more about fragrances, I thought that designer was the best you could get. I had no idea that there was additional tiers to try. I attended a couple of launches from fragrance houses I’d never heard of, but what I experienced blew my mind. This was my introduction into the world of ‘niche fragrances’.

This time last year, out of he blue, I received an email asking if I wanted to try the new offering from Roja Dove... Elysium.
