This diet has got me questioning everything I know right now. Aside from it making me distrust a lot of mainstream science and nutrition, but then I still live in a perpetual state of ‘what if I’m wrong?’ I can’t deny how good I feel and the effect that this diet has had on my body though. My biggest thing is that, whilst I feel great and for the foreseeable future, see no reason to stop, I don’t want my diet to be at the expense of life enjoyment. Week 7, and shit’s getting real... literally! This is going to be a bit graphic, so you may want to finish whatever you’re eating before continuing.
When I embarked on this crazy idea of no fruit or vegetables, and only eating meat, the first concern I had was how a lack of fibre was going to affect my bathroom frequency.
