Earlier in the year I was commissioned by D&Me / One Vintage to shoot their campaign, and I was very happy when they asked me to do the same again.
Once again, the shoot took place in their Brompton Road store, with their "winter wonderland" window display as a backdrop. In front of the camera was a friend of Marcelle's, Tatiana, who had never modelled before. Oh, and did I mention that Tatiana has a 6 month old baby... and that's her third child????Read More
Here's a small selection of the images from my shoot last month for D&Me, an awesome vintage store in Kensington. I shot Kristin Knox, AKA The Clothes Whisperer there for her blog last year (see the shoot here), so I already knew the store well. This is only a small selection, you can view more on the D&Me / One Vintage website. We shot about 30 looks over the course of the day, and had a lot of fun in the process. If you haven't been in there, you really should go and check out the shop, it's like a vintage wonderland!Read More
The idea behind this editorial is that of a little girl playing "dress up", albeit in some rather awesome and expensive vintage attire!
D&Me was an amazing location. The stunning clothes and endless supply of props (I never expected a location to have a ready supply of flamingoes!) all added to the styling of the shoot. It was also nice to be somewhere warm when all outside was cold and windy! It's definitely about time I got booked for a shoot in the Maldives I reckon! Anyway, I hope you like the images as much as we enjoyed shooting them. Expect to see a lot more collaborations between myself and the Clothes Whisperer in 2012!Read More
