Fragrance Review - Davidoff Cool Water Wave

Davidoff Cool Water Wave is a summer 2017 flanker to the original 1988 Cool Water, a fragrance I’ve never actually owned, or even smelled. The marketing for Wave features exciting energetic language and use of words like ‘adrenaline’ and ‘crashing’ to create a feeling of excitement. Fragrance Review - Fan Di Fendi Acqua

Fan Di Fendi Acqua is a super cheapie and yet another one of my blind buys. It was released in 2013 as a flanker to Fan Di Fendi. With all the usual fresh notes I like, I didn’t think I could go wrong with this one.

I was still a little unsure about what notes I specifically liked at the time, and didn't really know too much about the different categories of fragrances. Thanks to Debs, after much deliberation, I did settle on Invictus Aqua.

Fragrance Review - John Varvatos Artisan Acqua

I probably have enough summer fresh scents right now, but I saw this in TK Maxx and was compelled to pick it up. I've seen loads of reviews of John Varvatos Artisan Pure, but I hadn't seen any for Artisan Aqua, but I thought 'what the hell'.

My first impressions of the presentation are that it's unique. The rustic cap and the woven covering around the bottle give a real sense of how this is going to smell. Even the box has a textured feel, to give a subtle feeling of sand.
